Role Purpose
This Data Scientist role is focused on designing, testing, and maintaining software programs for operating systems or applications that will be deployed at client sites, ensuring that they meet 100% quality assurance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand requirements and design software solutions.
- Develop software by analyzing system flow, data usage, and work processes.
- Investigate problem areas and follow the software development lifecycle.
- Perform root cause analysis for system issues and propose improvements.
- Analyze client needs and convert them into practical software designs.
- Collaborate with functional teams or systems analysts to dive into software requirements.
- Work closely with project managers to understand software capabilities.
- Code and develop optimal software modules.
- Evaluate operational feasibility by analyzing requirements and proposing software solutions.
- Develop and automate validation processes by creating and executing test cases.
- Modify software to fix errors, improve performance, or upgrade interfaces.
- Plan the installation of new systems or modify existing systems as needed.
- Ensure the software is bug-free and passes all test cases.
- Prepare reports on programming projects, activities, and status updates.
- Ensure all codes adhere to project norms with clear documentation.
- Coordinate daily project status updates with the team and provide detailed documentation.
- Provide feedback on usability and trace quality risks to stakeholders.
- Regularly communicate project status with clients to ensure on-time delivery.
- Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated with industry trends and programming languages.
- Collaborate with engineering staff to develop specifications and performance requirements.
- Maintain high-quality interaction with clients through emails, calls, and reports.
- Ensure prompt responses to client requests without any complaints.
Stakeholder Interaction
- Internal: Report regularly to Lead Software Developers and Project Managers, coordinate with other Software Developers.
- External: Provide solutions and support to clients based on their requirements.
