Role Overview
As an Assistant Manager specializing in Technology Consulting for React Native, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying robust mobile applications using React Native. This role requires a blend of hands-on technical expertise and strategic vision, as you will lead projects that aim to elevate user experience while aligning with industry best practices. Your work will contribute to delivering high-quality, innovative solutions for KPMG’s diverse clientele.
Key Responsibilities
- UI Development: Design and build user interfaces that are not only visually appealing but also functional and easy to use, strictly following React Native best practices and UI/UX guidelines.
- React Native Expertise: Utilize React Native to develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications, ensuring that they perform optimally on both iOS and Android.
- Best Practices and Deployment: Implement best coding practices, ensuring the app adheres to the unique deployment guidelines of the iOS App Store and Google Play Store. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the distinctions between these platforms and integrate app-specific functionalities accordingly.
- Code Quality: Write clean, reusable, and maintainable JavaScript code. Focus on creating robust code that minimizes bugs and maximizes performance.
- UI Precision: Implement pixel-perfect UIs that align with provided design specifications. Ensure the app’s look and feel matches the intended design down to the smallest detail.
- Bug Fixing and Optimization: Diagnose and address bugs, performance issues, and bottlenecks promptly. Optimize application performance to create smooth, reliable user experiences.
- API Integration: Integrate the app with platform-specific native APIs to enable features that require deeper access to device functionalities.
- Testing and Stability: Write unit and integration tests to guarantee the app’s stability and prevent errors from reaching the end user.

Qualifications
- Technical Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience developing mobile applications using React Native.
- Strong command of JavaScript, with proficiency in HTML and CSS.
- Hands-on experience with state management libraries, specifically Redux or other similar solutions.
- Expertise in debugging and performance optimization techniques for mobile applications.
- Platform-Specific Knowledge:
- Familiarity with the development principles of both iOS and Android platforms, understanding their unique features and constraints.
- Experience in deploying applications to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, with a solid grasp of each store’s approval process.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities to work in synergy with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and product managers.
- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences clearly and effectively.
