Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in law from a recognized university or institute.

Experience Requirements:

  • Nine years of experience handling legal matters related to contractual agreements, arbitration, legislative matters, or land acquisition cases.

Employment Conditions:

Candidates must be officers currently employed under any of the following entities:

  • Central or State Governments
  • Union Territories
  • Universities
  • Recognized Research Institutions
  • Public Sector Undertakings
  • Semi-Government, Statutory, or Autonomous Organizations

Service Tenure Requirements:

  • Option 1: Holding an analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department.
  • Option 2: Having five years of regular service in the pay scale of Level 11 (₹67,700 – ₹2,08,700) as per the 7th CPC.
