OSSC CHSL Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:
Applicants must have completed:

  • +2 Science, or
  • +2 Vocational course in agriculture-related subjects like Crop Production (CP), Horticulture, or Repair & Maintenance of Power Driven Farm Machinery (PDFM) from a recognized board or institution.

Age Limit:

  • Minimum: 21 years
  • Maximum: 38 years
    (as on January 1, 2024).

OSSC CHSL Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

The recruitment process comprises three stages:

  1. Preliminary Examination
  2. Main Written Examination
  3. Certificate Verification
  • Negative Marking: For exams with multiple-choice questions, a penalty will be applied for incorrect answers:
    • ¼ mark deduction for questions with 4 options.
    • ⅓ mark deduction for questions with 3 options, and so on.

The final merit list will be prepared based on candidates’ performance in the main written exam, arranged category-wise and according to the number of advertised vacancies.
