Analyst – Risk Management (Bangalore)

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Monitor Transactions: Regularly track merchant transactions to identify risks and fraudulent activities, taking immediate corrective actions.
  • Resolve Discrepancies: Handle transaction queries and address discrepancies to prevent potential disputes.
  • Collaborate with Banks and Cybercell: Work closely with partner banks and Cybercell to manage chargebacks and ensure timely recovery, thereby minimizing losses.
  • Customer Communication: Engage with merchants and customers to address their queries and provide necessary clarifications.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute innovative ideas to refine processes and reduce risks, enhancing overall efficiency and reducing financial losses.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience: 1-2 years in risk management, fraud prevention, or transaction monitoring.
  • Tools Knowledge: Familiarity with customer support apps or CRMs, such as Freshdesk.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor in phone and email interactions.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively address stakeholder concerns.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to identify anomalies quickly.
  • Proactive Problem Solver: Take initiative to resolve issues and minimize disruptions in transactions or customer experiences.
