Position Details

Remuneration

  • Senior Consultant (Research): ₹100,000/- per month
  • Consultant (Research): ₹85,000/- per month

Essential Qualifications and Experience

For Retired Government Officers

Senior Consultant (Research)

  • Eligibility: Retired officers at Level 12 or above of the Pay Matrix from Central/State Government, Union Territories, autonomous/statutory organizations, Public Sector Undertakings, Universities, or recognized Research Institutions.
  • Education: Master’s degree in Political Science, Sociology, Social Work, Economics, Human Rights, Psychology, Population Studies, or Criminology from a recognized university.
  • Experience: At least 5 years’ proven research experience in any of the above subjects at a recognized institution or university.
  • Skills: Proficiency in computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Desirable: Ph.D. or LLM from a recognized university.

Consultant (Research)

  • Eligibility: Retired officers at Level 11 or above of the Pay Matrix from Central/State Government, Union Territories, autonomous/statutory organizations, Public Sector Undertakings, Universities, or recognized Research Institutions.
  • Education: Master’s degree in Political Science, Sociology, Social Work, Economics, Human Rights, Psychology, Population Studies, or Criminology from a recognized university.
  • Experience: At least 3 years’ proven research experience in any of the above subjects at a recognized institution or university.
  • Skills: Proficiency in computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Desirable: LLM or LLB from a recognized university.

For Other Candidates

Senior Consultant (Research)

  • Education: Ph.D. in Social Sciences, preferably in Political Science, International Relations, Social Work, Human Rights, etc., from a recognized university.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of research experience in the above subjects from a recognized institution or university, including at least 3 years of experience working with a UN organization.

Consultant (Research)

  • Education: LLM or a postgraduate degree in Social Sciences (preferably Political Science, International Relations, Social Work, Human Rights, etc.) from a recognized university, with a minimum of 60% marks.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of research experience in the above subjects from a recognized institution or university.
