The UP Police Constable Vacancy 2024 has been announced, with a notification released for the recruitment of 60,244 constables in the UP Police force. This recruitment drive introduces two new rules for the application process, and candidates are urged to familiarize themselves with these changes before applying.
For the first time, the One Time Registration (OTR) system has been implemented in UP Police Constable Recruitment. This means that candidates are required to register only once on the official website, obtaining login credentials that will be used for all future applications. Once registered, their details will be securely stored, allowing them to directly apply for any upcoming recruitments without the need for repeated registration. The Board had recently sought tenders from relevant agencies to initiate the OTR system.
Additionally, the recruitment process now incorporates a normalization procedure, as highlighted by the Board. In a recent notice, the Board announced that for recruitment examinations with papers conducted in two or more shifts, a normalization process would be employed to ensure fair and unbiased results. This process adjusts marks based on the varying difficulty levels of different shifts, utilizing a specific formula. Interested candidates can find the detailed formula on the board’s official website.
Prospective applicants are reminded that the online application process commences on December 27th, and the deadline for form submission is January 16th. Successful candidates will be required to pass both a written examination and a physical test for final selection.”
