Among the total vacancies, 24,102 are unreserved, 6,024 are earmarked for EWS, 16,264 for OBC, 12,650 for SC, and 1,204 for ST.
UP Police Constable Recruitment 2024 Application Process and Important Dates .
Prospective candidates need to visit the UPPBPB website to fill out the online application form, with the application link becoming active on December 27th. UP Police Constable Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria .

Candidates successful in the written examination will undergo a Physical Standard Test (PST), where male candidates must meet a height requirement of at least 168 cm (160 cm for ST category). The chest width for men is set at 79 cm (84 cm when expanded), and for ST category, it’s 77 and 82 cm, respectively. Female candidates should have a minimum height of 152 cm (147 cm for ST category) and a weight of at least 40 kg.
Successful candidates in the PST will proceed to the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), involving a 4.8 km run for male candidates to be completed in 25 minutes and a 2.4 km run for female candidates to be completed in 14 minutes. The final selection will be based on a merit list derived from the written examination scores.”
